Cummins Tuning

Cummins engines power everything from pickups to farm and construction equipment. Kirtsy Calibrations builds custom calibrations around the engine, controller and hardware you actually have.

Cummins engines we list

  • Cummins 5.9L (ISB)
  • Cummins 6.7L (ISB)
  • Cummins L9 / ISL
  • Cummins ISX15 / X15
  • Cummins QSB / QSC / QSL / QSM / QSX (industrial)

Why generation matters

Cummins engines span generations with very different fuel systems and controllers, from earlier electronically controlled pump systems to high-pressure common-rail engines with variable-geometry turbochargers and exhaust aftertreatment on newer ones. The right approach depends on the generation, so we start from your exact engine and controller, not just “a 6.7.”

Help us identify your engine

The engine data plate shows the engine serial number (ESN) and the CPL (control parts list) number, which identifies the engine’s exact configuration. A photo of the plate with your order helps us confirm the controller and calibration family before we start.

What we calibrate

  • Fuel quantity and injection timing
  • Rail pressure targets, where the engine uses a common-rail system
  • Turbocharger and boost control
  • Torque, speed and protection limits, including exhaust temperature
  • Transmission (TCM) calibration where applicable

What we ask before quoting

  • Your stock read, and the controller label or part number if you can photograph it
  • Turbo, injectors, lift and high-pressure pump, and any other changes
  • Transmission and axle details if you tow or haul
  • Your goals, and how and where the engine is used
