What do I need to order a custom tune?
A stock read of your engine controller (ECM), plus details about your vehicle or equipment, engine, hardware modifications, goals and how it is used. The Start a Custom Tune form walks you through each step, and you can upload photos and data logs too. If you do not have a stock read yet, tick the box on the form and we will contact you about getting one.
How does ordering work?
You submit the Start a Custom Tune form, which is a request and not a payment. We review your files and answers, then email you a quote with a secure payment link, or ask questions if something is unclear. After payment we build your calibration, and you download it from your account dashboard.
How long does it take?
Turnaround depends on the platform and how complete your files are. We confirm your timeline when we review your order.
How much does a custom tune cost?
Pricing depends on the platform and what the build involves. We confirm the exact price in your quote before you pay anything, and the order form itself never charges you.
How do I get my file after I pay?
Sign in to your account and open Tune Orders. Your file appears there as soon as it is delivered, and we email you when it is ready. You can request revisions and upload data logs from the same page.
Do I need an account?
Your account is created automatically when you submit an order. You will get an email with a link to set your password, and you use that account to track progress and download your file.
What if the tune needs changes?
Request a revision from your dashboard and include a data log if you can; logs show us exactly what the engine did. We review it and reply by email.
Which engines do you work on?
The order form lists the engines we commonly work on: Cummins 5.9L (ISB); Cummins 6.7L (ISB); Cummins L9 / ISL; Cummins ISX15 / X15; Cummins QSB / QSC / QSL / QSM / QSX (industrial); Duramax LB7; Duramax LLY; Duramax LBZ; Duramax LMM; Duramax LML; Duramax LGH; Duramax L5P; Power Stroke 7.3L; Power Stroke 6.0L; Power Stroke 6.4L; Power Stroke 6.7L; Caterpillar C7 / C9 / C13 / C15; Detroit Diesel DD13 / DD15 / DD16; PACCAR MX-13; Volvo D13; Mack MP7 / MP8; John Deere PowerTech; Other / not listed. If yours is not listed, choose Other and describe it, or contact us before you order. We confirm compatibility for your exact engine and controller before you pay.
What do I need to flash the file?
A compatible read/write tool for your controller. Tell us what you have on the order form, or ask us what works for your engine before you buy anything.
Will a custom tune affect my warranty?
Changing engine calibration can affect manufacturer or dealer warranty coverage. Check your warranty terms before modifying a vehicle that is still covered.
Is this legal to use on the road?
Calibrations are sold for off-road, competition, or otherwise legally permitted use only. You are responsible for complying with all emissions and vehicle regulations that apply where the vehicle or equipment is operated. Emissions rules differ by country and state, and we cannot give legal advice. Read our Emissions and Legal Use page, and check the rules that apply where you operate.
How are my files and personal details protected?
Files you upload are stored in a private folder that cannot be opened by web address, and only you and the shop can download them. Payments are handled by the payment provider at checkout, so card details never touch this site. See our Privacy Policy for the full picture.
Do you have a dealer or wholesale program?
Shops can apply through the Dealer Program page. We review each application and email you.
How do I contact the shop?
Use the Contact page or the chat on this site. Every message is saved and sent straight to the shop, and we reply by email.
